BELIEVE…
Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
G. Raymond Carlson said, “God’s great plan of saving us is so wonderfully complete that all of our efforts are excluded.” This wonderful salvation that God offers us can only be received by faith, believing and trusting in the work that Christ did on the Cross. It begins in the heart and eventually touches every part of our lives.
BELONG…
Romans 12:5-6 “In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others and we have different gifts, according to the grace given us.”
God saved us to be a part of something far bigger than ourselves. He created us to belong to a community of believers who can be Christ’s hands and feet extended to a needy world. We are all different gifts but we all have the same purpose of reflecting God’s glory and goodness.
BECOME…
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
The radical changes that marked the Apostles Paul and Peter’s lives can become the experience of everyone who is born again. Sins are forgiven and forgotten at the cross. Anyone who has made Christ their Savior has a fresh start to become the person God created them to be. In Christ we are all ‘becomer’s.
